We love a little bit of rain in the Wilko household, and the boys love nothing more than running outside to dance in it, after all it’s something that nana has always encouraged and it certainly puts a smile on their face!
We were sent the perfect poncho for rainy day fun from Magic Fairy Wings recently, and every day since Clark’s dinosaur poncho arrived the weather has been glorious!
You can always guarantee that if you go out and buy a rain coat the sun will shine, and vice versa if you buy shorts it’ll rain, always the way for some reason. So after waiting weeks to get outdoors in the rain, the skies finally opened and he and Cruise rushed out to play in it and to test out Clark’s new poncho.
The poncho itself arrived in a cute little easy-to-store bag, and is made from durable PVC. There are poppers around the neck which ensure the hood stays up, and poppers under the arms to stop it from flapping about in the wind and rain. I was really impressed with how dry Clark was after half an hour in the rain, and at no point did he complain about having to wear it. He even pretended to be an aeroplane with his poncho arms spread out!
The Bugzz dinosaur rain poncho is available to buy at www.magicfairywings.co.uk and is priced at £6.95. I think it’s the perfect rainy day wear, and as it’s suited for ages 3-6 it’ll last him a while – We may even be able to test it out on some water rides when he’s bigger! Plus there’s a whole range of styles including frogs, bugs and princesses.
Magic Fairy Wings are a family based business offering a range of educational toys as well as creative items, clothing, and accessories. They emphasise on providing customers with quality products, and a friendly, efficient personalised service. I had a great browse on their website recently and loved all the outdoor products which they have, along with their range of wooden trains, trains are always a firm favourite in this house. I’ll definitely be back to purchase gifts throughout the year as there is so much to choose from.
We’ve also recently become a Magic Fairy Wings ambassador so will be reviewing a different item each month, so make sure to check back in May to find out what we’ve chosen next!
